Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Master of Science
    • Degree: Honours degree with a background in biology or health sciences or the equivalent professional degree
  • Doctor of Philosophy
    • Candidates with outstanding academic records may apply directly to the Ph.D. program

GPA

  • Minimum:
    • M.Sc. = B+ (75% or 3.3/4.0) based on 2nd to 4th year of studies
    • Ph.D. = A

Supporting Documents

  • Application Fee: $105
  • If required, TOEFL scores of 550 (paper-based) or TOEFL iBT minimum scores of: writing (24/30); speaking (22/30); reading (22/30); listening (20/30), for a total of 88/120. Applicants must have the minimum score in each test as well as the minimum overall score.

Tuition 2010-2011

  • $2120/term for domestic students ($2042 if application received before May 1)
  • $4155/term for international students ($4002 if application received before May 1)
