Program Information

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (B.S.P.)
  • 4 years in length
  • Applications:
    • 300 applications
    • 96 applicants interviewed
    • 40 accepted
      • 75% for in-province, 25% for out-of-province
  • Fields of study:
    • Medicinal Chemistry/drug design and discovery of new molecules with anti-cancer or anti-infectious properties;
    • Pharmacology/Mechanisms of Toxicity and Protection in Neurons;
    • Targeted Drug Delivery;
    • Therapeutic Drug Monitoring.

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: No degree required. 30 credit hours must be completed
  • Required courses:
    • Biology (6 credits)
    • Calculus (6 credits)
    • General Chemistry (6 credits)
    • Physics (6 credits)
    • English (6 credits)

  • Minimum: Passing grade for all pre-admission courses
  • Academic average is composed of: average of pre-admission courses (50%) and average of all post-secondary courses (50%)
