Program Information
- Students may be allowed to fast-track from a MA to a PhD
- Only applicants who plan to pursue their PhD degree will be accepted. Applicants who are only pursuing a Master's degree are not considered.
- 10-20 new students are accepted each year
- Two full-time, research-intensive tracks:
- Experimental Program
- Clinical Program

Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Honours or Major (BA or BSc) in Psychology
- Recommended courses (only applicable to some areas of psychology):
- Computer science
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Physiology
- Research experience is highly recommended; it is rare to be accepted without research experience.

GPA
- Minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Successful applicants into the clinical program have a GPA of 3.8

GRE
- All applicants must take the GRE General Test if they have studied in an English-speaking institution
- It is recommended for applicants who have psychology background to take the Subject component of the GRE
- GRE General Test scores must be submitted by the application deadline but Subject Test scores may be submitted after the deadline

- Three letters of recommendation
- Personal statement describing the applicant's interests in psychology and career goals and indicate faculty members whom the applicant would like to work with.
