Program Information

  • Students may be allowed to fast-track from a MA to a PhD

Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Honours or Major (BA or BSc) in Psychology
  • Recommended courses (only applicable to some areas of psychology):
    • Computer science
    • Mathematics
    • Biology
    • Physiology
  • Research experience is highly recommended; it is rare to be accepted without research experience.

GPA

  • Minimum GPA of 3.3.
  • Successful applicants into the clinical program have a GPA of 3.8

GRE

  • All applicants must take the GRE General Test if they have studied in an English-speaking institution
  • It is recommended for applicants who have psychology background to take the Subject component of the GRE
  • GRE General Test scores must be submitted by the application deadline but Subject Test scores may be submitted after the deadline
