Program Information

  • MSc program in Human Nutrition and Dietetics
    • Students required to complete 14 credits in advanced nutrition coursework, plus 31 credits related to their thesis research.
  • Domains emphasized by school researchers include:
    • Nutritional biochemistry and metabolism, embryonic and fetal origins of health and disease, health optimization in at-risk populations, and development of novel nutritional and/or nutraceutical approaches for treatment during surgery and recovery from disease.

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: A B.Sc. degree equivalent to a McGill degree in a subject closely related to Dietetics/Human Nutrition

GPA

  • Minimum: 3.2 CGPA for the thesis program, and 3.5 for the applied program.

Tuition 2009-2010

For a 30 credit year:

  • Quebec Residents - $3,500
  • Out-of-province- $ 7,100 (year 1) ; $5,000 (year 2)
  • International students - $15,000 (year 1), $9,000 (year 2)
  • For additional fees including books, lodging and food, add an extra $13,000 annually
