- The complements you take for your honors Bachelors overlap with the recquired Masters Classes.
Masters (M.Sc.) Degree
- Thesis based, 1-2 years
- Course work and significant research components
Ph.D. Degree
- 4-5 years with training for independent research
- Students can apply directly with only B.Sc.

2 letters of recommendation, not more than 6 months old, preferably from academic or professional employers
2 official copies of all university transcripts
- Students graduating from the McGill Department of Chemistry do not need to submit these, a simple print out from Minerva is sufficient
Proof of English Proficiency for international students who have not received their instruction in English
- TOEFL minimum scores
  - Paper based: 577
  - Computer based: 233
  - iBt: 90 (at least 20 in each section)
General and Subject Chemistry GREs – international students may be asked to write the general and advance chemistry GRE tests.

- International - $15,000 for 1st year
