Course and Degree Requirements
- B.Sc. Major/Honours in Chemistry or related fields such as Physics of Biochemistry.
- Required cGPA above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.2 out of 4.0 in the last two years of full-time studies

- 2 letters of recommendation, not more than 6 months old, preferably from academic or professional employers
- An unofficial copy of complete university-level academic record to date uploaded through the applicant page
- Proof of English Proficiency for international students who have not received their instruction in English
- TOEFL minimum scores
- Paper based: 567
- iBt: 86 (at least 20 in each section)
- IELTS minimum score: 6.5

- General and Subject Chemistry GREs – international students may be asked to write the general and advance chemistry GRE tests.

Tuition 2018-2019
There is a minimum yearly stipend of $23,000 for M.Sc and Ph.D students.
The following are based on 30 credits taken across Fall and Winter semesters:
- M.Sc.
- For Québec students: $ 4,264.34/year
- For non-Québec students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents: $ 9,440.54/year
- For international students: $ 19,454.44/year
- Ph.D.
- For Québec students: $ 4,264.34/year
- For non-Québec students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents: $ 4,264.34/year
- For international students: $ 17,732.44/year
For students paying out of province/international supplements, scholarships will be provided to offset those costs.
