Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Master of Science
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in meteorology, physical oceanography, physics, mathematics, engineering, or other related subjects.
- Doctor of Philosophy
- Degree: Master's degree in atmospheric science, physical oceanography, or a related discipline.
GPA
- Minimum: 3.0 (4.0 scale) or 3.2 in the last two years
GRE
- Required for all students who completed their undergraduate degree outside McGill

Tuition 2018-2019
There is a minimum yearly stipend of $18,000 for M.Sc and $20,000 for Ph.D students.

- For Québec students: $4,264.34 based on 30 credits taken across Fall and Winter semesters.
- For non-Québec students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents: $9,440.54 based on 30 credits taken across Fall and Winter semesters.
- For international students: $19,454.44 based on 30 credits taken across Fall and Winter semesters
