Admission Requirements

General

  • Admission is finalized upon finding a supervisor
  • Prospective students must find a supervisor before applying

Academic Requirements

  • B.Sc. in life science or M.D., D.D.S. or D.V.M from a recognized university
  • cGPA: minimum 3.3
  • Approx. 1/3 of all undergraduate courses should be Anatomy and Cell Bio. Courses, the other third should be in related classes

Financial Requirements

  • Students must be supported at minimum of $15,000 (M.Sc) and $17,000 (Ph.D).
  • Students are expected to apply for internal or external fellowships

Documents

  • 2 copies of your transcript
  • Proof of citizenship
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • $60 Application fee

Other

  • For students that meet the academic requirements, but are considered unprepared in their area of studies, may be admitted to a Qualifying Program, as dictated by the Graduate Student Affairs Committee
  • After completing the qualifying program, the student may then begin their graduate degree
