Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

Eligible applicants to the MPH program include:

  • Current health professionals
  • Applicants with a degree in one of the following:
    • Doctoral degree (DMD, DDS, JD, MD, PharmD, PhD, DPM, OD, DO, ScD, DVM, MBBS, MBBCh)
    • Master’s degree (MSN, MSW, MBA, SM, etc) + 3-5 years of health-related work experience
    • Medical students (MD and DO)

  • Students lacking the requirements should consider a Master of Science program in one of the Harvard School of Public Health departments (Access their catalogue here.)

  • No minimum GRE score, but looking for strong quantitative, verbal and writing ability.

  • $36,125 for 42.5 credits – required for MPH
  • $57,642 if adding registration fee, books, rents, food, etc.
  • International students must be able to demonstrate a 9-month level of support prior to Fall admissions ($57,642)
  • US and International students’ tuitions are the same
