Program Information

  • Degree offered:
    • M.Sc. in Speech Language Pathology

  • 3 years in length
  • Program consists of 13 credits for the research project and 14 credits for the thesis track
  • Program includes intensive practicum experiences during the summer of second year and winter of third year

Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Applicant must possess a minimum of four-year baccalaureate degree from an accredited university
  • An honours degree is a strong asset
  • Although there are no specific pre-requisite courses, applicants are suggested to have an undergraduate degree in the following:
    • Psychology
    • Biology
    • Health Sciences
    • Kinesiology
    • Nursing
    • Linguistics
    • Education

  • Minimum: 3.3 GPA (out of a 4.3 scale)
  • Average accepted GPA: 3.5 – 3.7
  • Calculation method:
    • Last two years of full-time studies required

Tuition 2009-2010

  • Full time Canadian applicants:
    • Year of Study 1 and 2: $9,110.00 CAD
    • Year of Study 3: $7,548.00 CAD
  • Non-Canadian applicants: $7,254.00 CAD + additional differential fee (determined by university)
