Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: an Ontario honours B.Sc degree or McGill B.Sc degree in geology or a related discipline
  • Must also be recommended by the department you plan to study in

  • Minimum final year GPA of 3.3
  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0

  • Not required
  • TOEFL is required for international students
    • Minimum scores: 213 CBT, 580 PBT, 86 IBT

  • 2 copies of official transcript from each post-secondary institution that you have attended
  • 3 letters of reference are required normally from a faculty member whom you have studied with
