MCAT

- MCAT scores are only valid for two years (i.e. for 2009 entry, the MCAT test must be taken between August 2006 and May 2008)

Transcript
- Applicants must include all original transcripts along with the date and results of their MCAT, GAMSAT or an equivalent test in English
Application Fee

- hard copy: $100 AUD (approx. $83.75 CAD)
- must be made Payable to The Australian National University either by credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or bank draft (international cheque) in Australian Dollars AUD
- Foreign currency cheques will not be accepted
Optional Standardarized Test
- uniTEST is a test of aptitude of university study
- it provides an alternate way or entry point into many undergraduate programs including the Faculty of Medicine

Tuition
- Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) tuition fee for an international student is $40 800 AUD (approx. $34 149.09 CAD)
- Bachelor of Medical Sciences (approx. $19 098.73 CAD)

- These tuition fees are based on a standard 48 units of credit per school year
- Students continuing in their program will have a fee increase capped at 5% per year.
- Tuition fees do not cover the Ovearseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) premuim.
