Academic Requirements

MCAT

  • GAMSAT or MCAT
    • Minimum MCAT Score:
      • Physical Sciences: 8
      • Verbal Reasoning: 8
      • Biological Sciences: 8
      • Essay: M
    • MCAT scores are only valid for two years (i.e. for 2009 entry, the MCAT test must be taken between August 2006 and May 2008)

Optional Standardarized Test

  • uniTEST is a test of aptitude of university study
  • it provides an alternate way or entry point into many undergraduate programs including the Faculty of Medicine

Tuition

  • Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) tuition fee for an international student is $40 800 AUD (approx. $34 149.09 CAD)
  • Bachelor of Medical Sciences (approx. $19 098.73 CAD)

  • These tuition fees are based on a standard 48 units of credit per school year
  • Students continuing in their program will have a fee increase capped at 5% per year.
  • Tuition fees do not cover the Ovearseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) premuim.
