Admission Requirements

General

• Application available online at http://www.acadiau.ca/admissions/gradPrograms.htm
• Acceptance of the applicant dependent on the recommendation of the proposed supervisor

Academic Requirements

• Honours degree or four-year Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Must not be missing more than three undergraduate computer science courses.
• Minimum of a B- average for the courses in the same field as the major taken within the last two years of undergraduate studies.

Financial Requirements

• International applicants must secure at least $18,000 in funding before applying for a student visa.

Supporting Documents

• Application package which includes a letter of recommendation
• 2 Copies of transcripts
• Proof of English proficiency
• $50 Application fee

Deadlines

• February 1st: to be considered for awards
• March 15th: last day for application to be received
• September 30th: to be considered for awards for January entry
• TA application: February 1
• Admission Offers: Made by May 31st, preceding the anticipated year of entry.
