Admission Requirements

General

  • Applicants require a faculty member to agree to be their supervisor; acceptance is unlikely without one
  • They are now recruiting graduate students. For more information, see here

Academic Requirements

  • 4-year Honours baccalaureate degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 73% (B) over final 2 years of undergraduate study
  • Transfer from MSc to PhD possible

Financial Requirements

  • Annual sub-total for full-time domestic students: $6,491.00 (includes tuition and compulsory fees such as Dental Plan, Drug Plan, Athletic fee, etc.)
  • Estimated annual cost of living for domestic students: $18,091.00 to $23,066.00 (includes sub-total from above and cost of living expenses)
  • Graduate full-time students are guaranteed financial support for a certain length of time

  • Statement of Research Interest and Career/Graduate Study Goals
  • 2 letters of reference
  • 1 certified (official) copy of each previous undergraduate and/or graduate transcript
  • Application fee of $85
  • Proof of English Proficiency (if not a Canadian Citizen): TOEFL, IELTS, MELAB, CAEL scores are accepted
