Program Information
- Candidates are usually admitted directly into a PhD program
- PhD program (4-5 years)
- Areas of Specialization:

- Cognitive Neuroscience

- Industrial/Organizational
- Social
- Joint Area Program
- Students may choose to obtain one of the following Master's degrees along the way:
- MASc Program in Developmental Communication Science (1 year)
- MASc Program in Industrial/Organizational Psychology (2 years)

Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: an Honours bachelor’s degree (equivalent to McGill Bachelor’s degree) or its equivalent in Psychology with at least a A- overall standing
- Candidates for admission who possess a general bachelor’s degree (other than in psychology) must take at least three terms of qualifying work in psychology

GPA
- Minimum GPA: a A- overall standing (3.3)
- Note that the minimum GPA is merely the lowest level required. Programs such as clinical psychology are very competitive and a high GPA may be advantageous

GRE
- All applicants must take the GRE General Test (verbal, quantitative and analytic scores)
- The subject test is not required

- Three letters of reference from academic sources (names and email addresses)

- Minimum paper-based: 580 overall, 50 in each section, and TWE of 4.0

Tuition 2012-2013
- Domestic fees - $2,342 per term (3 terms per year)
- International fees - $5,726 per term

Funding
- All students are guaranteed a minimum stipend of $22,000 per year for four years
- Students must maintain good academic standing (grade of 80%), be full-time, and actively seek external funding
