Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- Degree: a four-year undergraduate degree (BSc) in Computer Science or equivalent

GPA
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 over the last 20 courses

GRE
- GRE is required if you have received a degree outside of Canada
- Minimum score of 700 on the quantitative and 4.0 on the analytical writing section
- TOEFL is required for students graduating from an academic institution that is NOT recognized by University of Alberta in which the language of instruction is English
- Minimum score: 600 PBT, 250 CBT, 100 iBT with a minimum of 20 in each section.

- Three letters of reference are required
- Two of these should hold academic positions at an institution from which you graduated
- Two official hard copies of all transcripts sent to department
