- An Honours B.Sc. or equivalent degree from a regionally accredited university.
- B+ or better in honours subject; B- or better overall .
- The department you plan to undertake your studies in must provide a recommendation for you.
- Applicants who do not have an honours degree may be admitted to a qualifying-year program.
- Must prove English language proficiency.
- Your first language is English, OR
- You completed your undergraduate study at an English speaking university OR
- TOEFL: paper based: 550, computed based: 213; web-based: 86

Financial Requirements
- Tuition fees for one year for Canadians: $4,889.50
- International tuition fees: $10819.50

- 2 detailed copies of your official transcript for all undergraduate years.
- 2 recommendation forms from 2 faculty members (sealed, signed on the flap)
- Evidence of your Citizenship or permanent residence status
- TOEFL or GRE test result ( original copies must be sent from the original source)

- Fall 2009 (begins Sept. 1): Deadline is Aug. 31, 2009-may be considered for funding. March 31st, 2009-guaranteed consideration for funding.
