Admission Requirements
General
- Apply online at http://www.reg.ulaval.ca/sgc/page_accueil/futur_etudiant
- For the option with thesis, students are only admitted to the program once they secure a position with a supervisor.
Academic Requirements
- cGPA: minimum 2.67 out of 4.33 (or equivalent).
- A B.Sc. from a recognized university in agronomy, biology, microbiology, forest engineering, or a closely related field.
Financial Requirements
- Students should discuss funding with their supervisors.

- Personal essay
- 3 letters of recommendation
- Outline of research project
- Copy of birth certificate
- Copy of transcript (cumulative)
- For non-Canadian applicants living in Canada: Original diploma(s) obtained, certified copy of the Quebec acceptance certificate, certified (by judge or notary) copy of Canadian immigration papers
Other
- Applicants must be fluent in French and have adequate knowledge of English.
- This graduate program may be done with a thesis, or with a stage and an essay (shorter in length than the thesis).
Deadlines
- February 1 for September entry.
- For January entry: November 1 for Canadian students, September 1 for international students.
- For summer entry: April 1 for Canadian students, February 1 for international students. Summer admission is restricted to the option with thesis.
