Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Master’s Program
    • Degree: bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, or Applied Science. Or, the degree of Doctor of Medicine
  • Doctoral Program
    • Degree: master’s degree in neuroscience or in a field with a strong neuroscience and research component

GPA

  • Minimum GPA: a minimum of 3.3
  • Note that the minimum GPA is merely the lowest level required. Programs such as clinical psychology are very competitive and a high GPA may be advantageous

GRE

  • all applicants require GRE (verbal, quantitative and analytic scores)
  • TOEFL scores are required for international applicants who do not need to submit proof of English proficiency
      • TOEFL score of 600 (paper-based) or TOEFL iBT minimum scores of: writing (24/30); speaking (22/30); reading (22/30); listening (20/30), for a total of 88/120. Applicants must have the minimum score in each test as well as the minimum overall score.
