Admission Requirements

Courses and Degree Requirements

  • MPH:
    • A B.Sc. from a recognized university in a related field (health sciences).
    • Students are only required to secure a position with a supervisor by the end of their first term.
  • DrPH:
    • Master's degree or equivalent in a related field

GPA

  • MPH:
    • cGPA: minimum 3.2 out of 4.3 (or equivalent)
  • DrPH:
    • GPA: minimum 3.9 (from the last 3 consecutive semesters of Master's program)

  • Students should discuss funding with their supervisor.

  • Additional required documents for DrPH applicants:
    • At least one of the following:
      • Research paper from Master's degree
      • Published/submitted article or chapter of book whose first author is the applicant
      • 10-15 pages text stating the advancement of the Master's student's research and the future perspectives
    • 3 letters of recommendation
    • Project statement (200-500 words)
    • Scientific article whose first author is the applicant

Other

  • Related work experience is an asset.
  • This graduate program may be done with a thesis, or with a stage.
  • Applicants may be asked to attend an interview.
  • Applicants must be fluent in French and have adequate knowledge of English.
  • Applicants may have to pass a French knowledge test if their previous language of instruction was not French, or if their mother tongue is not French.

    • DELF, TCF, TEF: minimum B2

Tuition 2018-2019

  • MPH:
    • Quebec students, and French or Belgium citizens: $1,227.75 per semester
    • Canadian students: $3,815.85 per semester
    • International students: $8,407.73 per semester
  • DrPH:
    • Canadian students, and French or Belgium citizens: $1,227.75 per semester
    • International students: $7,546.76 per semester
