Interview

  • Interviews are granted by the Admissions Committee for those individuals who are in serious consideration of acceptance.
  • An invitation will be sent via email from the Admissions Committee.
  • Take place in the Los Angeles area
  • They are scheduled between September 2017 and March 2018.
  • The interview day consists of:
    • Morning welcome
    • One-on-one interview with a faculty member and a current medical student
    • Lunch
    • Tour of the facilities and campus

Timeline 2017-2018

  • May 2017: Primary application is available via AMCAS
  • June - November 2017: AMCAS applications are received and Keck supplemental applications are sent out.
  • September 30, 2017: Deadline to take MCAT for Fall 2018 admissions.
  • November 1, 2017: AMCAS application closes
  • December 1, 2017: Supplemental application, application fee and letters of recommendation due
  • July 2017 - February 2018: Applications are reviewed. Invitations to interview are sent
  • October 2017 - April 2018: Offers of admission are made on a "rolling" basis
  • January 2018 - July 2018: Applicants submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and other financial need applications
  • April 30, 2018: Deadline for all applicants to accept a single offer of MD admission to any institution
  • August 2018: Orientation begins for entering class.
  • Mid-August 2018: Classes begin.
