Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree:
    • Direct (Graduate) Entry: GPA of 5 in a key degree, and GAMSAT. Entry is competitive based on GAMSAT or MCAT (for international applicants) and GPA.
    • Provisional Entry: OP1 or Rank 99, Year 12 or equivalent English, and UMAT or ISAT (for international applicants). Provisional entry is only available to students completing Year 12 in the year of application. Previous UMAT cut-offs.

Minimum total of 499 for new MCAT

Timeline

The university operates on rolling admissions - best to apply as early as possible.

  • March - April: UQ International will start accepting and assessing applications
  • Mid - Late May: First round of offers will go out to successful applicants
  • Sept - Oct: International quota close to being full, waitlist will be created
