  • Required to complete one of the following:

    • Bachelor’s degree
  • Required Courses
    • General Chemistry with Laboratory (8 credit)
    • Organic Chemistry with Laboratory (8 credit)
    • Introductory Biology with Laboratory (8 credit)
    • Microbiology (3 credit)
    • Biochemistry (3 credit)
    • Anatomy (3 credit)
    • Human Physiology (6 credit)
    • Physics (3 credits)
    • Calculus (6 credit)
    • Statistics (3 credit)
    • Social Behavioral Science (3 credit)
    • English Composition (6 credits)
  • All prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade equal to or greater than C-

GPA

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA in pre-pharmacy science and math courses
  • Profile of class entering 2013:
    • Middle 50th Percentile Science & Math GPA: 3.1 – 3.5 (4.0 scale)

PCAT

  • Percentile Rank (not Scaled Scores) are considered
    • Percentile Rank is calculated by using the sum of each section under the Percentile Rank
  • No minimum scores
  • Competitive applicants usually show a percentage of at least 300
  • If taken twice, the higher of the two is considered.
  • If taken three or more times, the average of all the scores is considered.
  • Only PCAT test less than three years old are considered.
  • Profile of class entering 2013:
    • Middle 50th Percentile of Sum PCAT Percentile Score (excluding composite): 335 – 410
