Program Information

  • DDS – Doctor of Dental Surgery
  • 4 years in length

Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Applicants are required to have completed 3 years of college before matriculation and it is highly desirable that applicants have a bachelor’s degree
  • Required Courses
    • General Chemistry with lab
    • Organic Chemistry with lab
    • Physics with lab
    • Biology with lab
    • Mathematics (must include Calculus I and II or Calculus I and Statistics)
    • English Writing Intensive Course
  • Students who do not have English as their first language must take the TOEFL Exam

  • Minimum: not specified but a 3.0 GPA or higher is preferred

Standardized Test

  • NOTE: CANADIAN DAT IS NOT ACCEPTED
  • Test must have been written between January 1st 2008 and December 1st 2010 to be eligible for 2010-2011 application cycle

  • A pre-professional advisory committee letter is required OR 3 letters of reference from senior science faculty members are acceptable
