Admission Requirements
Course and Degree Requirements
- A minimum of 90 semester hours (135 quarter hours) in undergraduate arts and sciences courses.
- Virtually all accepted applicants complete a Bachelors degree with 120 semester hours (180 quarter hours) at an accredited university or college.
- Required Courses:
- General Biology or Zoology with Lab - 8 credits
- Inorganic Chemistry with Lab - 8 credits
- Organic Chemistry with Lab - 8 credits
- Physics with Lab - 8 credits
- English - 6 credits
- Other Humanities and Behavioral Sciences - 12 credits

- Saint Louis supplemental application (the university sends these to students after getting through the primary application process)

- A letter from the Pre-Nedical Advisory Committee is enough OR
- 3 Letters of reference of college/university teachers
- At least one of these individuals teach science
- Letters from others in addition to basic recommendations are welcome.
- Application fee of $100. AMCAS fee waiver required to waiver fee.
- Selected candidates will be invited to an interview day which consists of a luncheon, presentations, a tour of the campus, and an interview conducted by one of the committee members.
