Program Information

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.)
    • 4 years in length
    • For 2012 cycle, 5000+ students applied: 240 accepted

Admission Requirements

  • Recommended: 100 hours of shadowing

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree (any discipline) from an accredited US or Canadian college or university
    • Must have completed 90 credits
  • Prerequisite Courses (Minimum grade of C)
    • English (with writing component preferred) (6-8 credits)
    • Biology (8 credits)
    • Physics (6-8 credits)
    • Organic Chemistry (6-8 credits)
    • Inorganic Chemistry (6-8 credits)
  • Recommended Courses
    • comparative anatomy, biochemistry, cell biology, microbiology, genetics, histology, embryology, physiology, sociology, psychology and mathematics
