  • Degree: 90 undergraduate graded credits
  • Required Courses
    • Advanced Biology with lab (4 credits)
    • Biochemistry (3 or 4 credits)
    • Math (4 credits)
    • Physics (8 credits)
    • English (3 credits)
    • Social Sciences (3 credits)

MCAT

  • The MCAT must be taken before applying to qualify for this application cycle. Scores older than 2014 will not be accepted.
  • Admissions Committee will mix-and-match the two most recent eligible exams to consider the best overall score
    • Average incoming student has a 10 in each of the subsections

Supporting Documents

  • AMCAS application
  • One of the following letters of recommendation options:
    • Undergraduate Letters: Committee letter, packet of letters, or 2 separate letters from classroom professors, 1 of whom must have taught biology, chemistry, or physics.
    • Graduate Letters: Students currently or previously enrolled in graduate school are required to submit one letter of recommendation from a professor or thesis advisor. Students recently accepted to graduate school are not required to submit a letter.
    • Optional Letters: Not required. These should also be submitted via AMCAS and be received by MCW before the application is complete. Generally an optional letter is personal or professional in nature.

  • Interview invitations will be sent out on a rolling basis

  • December 1, 2017: MCW On-Line Secondary application must be certified and all materials received
