Admission Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • Prospective students must first find a Department Professor who agrees to be your Supervisor. Afterward, information on registration will be provided.
  • Should have a strong background in eitherbiochemistry, physiology, cell biology, microbiology or pathology
    • If not, students may take remedial courses to strengthen their background with the approval of the Graduate Chair

GPA

  • Masters: A four-year honors degree, or equivalent, from a recognized college or university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study
  • Ph.D: A Master's degree, or equivalent, from a recognized university in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study
  • A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (U of S grade system equivalent) in the last two years of study (i.e. 60 credit units)
