Admissions Requirements

Course and Degree Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree from a recognized university
  • Courses: a biostatistics course (taken within the last 5 years)

GPA

  • CGPA: minimum 3.2 out of 4.3 (or equivalent)

Supporting Documents

  • Online application
  • Application fee: $99
  • 200-500 word outline of the potential research project
  • "Career plan" outlining previous experience, current research interests, and how the potential research project will help accomplish future career goals.
  • Personal essay
  • CV
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • Birth certificate
  • Copy of transcript (cumulative)

Financial Requirements

  • Outline of how the student will finance their studies (international students only)
  • Students should discuss funding with their supervisor.

Other

  • Related work experience is an asset.
  • Applicants may need to attend an interview.
  • Applicants must be fluent in French and have adequate knowledge of English.
  • Applicants may have to pass a French knowledge test if their previous language of instruction was not French, or if their mother tongue is not French

  • Quebec students, and French or Belgium citizens: $1,227.75 per semester
  • Canadian students: $3,815.85 per semester
  • International students: $8,407.73 per semester
