  • Genetics (one semester, unless included in General Biology)
  • Biochemistry (one semester)
  • Mathematics (two semesters): May include a statistics course taken in a department other than mathematics
  • English (two semesters): May include composition, reading, and or speech communication
  • Social and Behavioral Sciences (two semesters): May include psychology, sociology, cultural anthropology, political science, and or economics
  • Humanities and Fine Arts (two semesters): May include literature, music, art, history, philosophy, religion, and or foreign language

Early Admission

• To be eligible to apply, candidates for this program must be sophomores and must have demonstrated academic proficiency in their freshman and sophomore coursework, particularly in the DVM prerequisite science courses

• Decision letters will be mailed out in early April
