Course and Degree Requirements

  • Degree: Minimum 3 years of undergraduate study (90 semester hours)
  • Required Courses
    • Biology/Zoology with laboratory (6 credits)
    • General Chemistry with laboratory (6 credits)
    • Organic Chemistry laboratory (6 credits) OR Organic Chemistry (3 credits) Biochemistry (3 credits)
    • English (6 credits)
    • Mathematics (6 credits)
    • Microbiology OR Bacteriology (3 credits)
    • Physics with laboratory (6 credits)
    • Psychology (3 credits)
    • Statistics (3 credits)

  • Minimum: 2.5 (applicants below 2.5 average should consult Office of Admissions)
  • A minimum of 2.0 in all prerequisite courses is required
  • Mean GPA (2012): 3.38

OAT

  • Mean average OAT (2012): 310
